Reading for the day: Luke 24:1-34
“And saying, “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.”
We are still in the season of commemorating Christ’s life, death and resurrection. Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed passion plays, movies about Christ, news coverage, and countless social media posts reflecting on His story.
When Christ appeared in the New Testament, He kept hope alive through miracles, wonders, healings, and teachings. He also remained alive in His promises—especially the promise that He would rise again after three days. Isn’t that amazing?
As a child I used to think worship only happened during the Holy Week procession. I remember rushing out with my sister, slippers on the wrong feet, just to follow it. Looking back, I smile— but I’ve since learned that true worship is a daily connection with God, not just a yearly ritual. And for that, I thank the Lord for His guidance and mercy and lead me in the true Church.
In our world today, the enemy is trying to influence our lives and distract us from serving God. The enemy uses temptations and systems to steer us away from God’s plan, that’s why Colossians 3:2 reminds us to keep our minds set on things above.
The life of Christ exemplified His teachings, and the significance of His resurrection resonates deeply with believers, as captured in the song “Because He Lives”. This assurance empowers us to approach tomorrow with hope and our current challenges with certainty, embodying the enduring power of His resurrection.

In the Church of Christ in the 4th Watch, we’re focused on deepening our faith. Our leaders help us stay grounded, and we’re reaching more people than ever through platforms like 4th Watch Media, our Youtube channel, radio, and the Apostle’s Take podcaster. Apostle Jonathan S Ferriol shares relevant messages that help us fix our focus on Jesus, keep our hope alive, and strengthen our faith whenever we are and don’t worry about the replay button—you can always watch it again.

The Church truly helps us grow — and in our district, we’ve already witnessed God’s abundant blessings. We’ve seen how, in every part of the Church, 4th Watchers come together to celebrate Christ’s resurrection in unity.
The upcoming Impact Canada Canada District Conference is another powerful way God is keeping our faith alive. Through His message, He will reignite our hearts, stir us from spiritual complacency, and draw us closer to Jesus once again

Reflection: What about you— have you been to truly worship God? Do you feel the power and hope that comes from Jesus’ resurrection?
