Reading for the Day: 2 Corinthians 9:15
"Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift!"
Isn’t it a blessing to sit together as a family inside the warmth of your home? The children’s laughter fills the air as they play. The aroma of hot soup prepared by mom lingers on a chilly day while dad sits peacefully with a cup of coffee in his hand. Moments like these may lead us to gratitude–not just for the comfort of home but also for the greater and more significant blessings.
In the Church, we have many reasons to be thankful–we are blessed by our leaders who serve us not the physical food but something far more nourishing – the Word of God. They prepare and place spiritual food on the table of our hearts, feeding us with wisdom and grace.
It was December 2000 when I felt God’s call to serve Him. It was a moment that forever changed my life. Through the powerful preaching of our late Apostle Arsenio T. Ferriol, I tasted the richness of God’s words. On that very day that I got baptized, I committed my life to Him. From that moment on, I immersed myself in learning the true doctrine and exploring the various ministries in the Church.
The Goodman of the House’s unwavering dedication in preaching was a source of strength and inspiration. I remember sitting attentively, listening as he shared God’s message. It often ends with a heartfelt prayer for everyone. His consistency in delivering God’s Word was a guiding light in my journey of faith.
One of the most profound moments of gratitude came when the Apostle encouraged me to enter the bible school. It was an immense privilege to receive that invitation—a calling that deepened my understanding of faith and service.
Here in the Canada District, God continues to pour out His blessings through the initiative and visions of our leaders. He has opened the doors of opportunity with the establishment of the Canada Caribbean Commission. By the grace of God, we have seen how He works mightily in the church in Turks and Caicos Islands as well as in the pioneering mission in Cayman Islands. We are expanding and growing the end-time mission globally.
In our time, it is essential to recognize the crucial role our Church leaders play in preparing us for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a responsibility they undertake with unwavering dedication, as exemplified by the Goodman of the House’s lingering message, “Happy Rapture!”. We are continuing in this pursuit as we head towards a brighter future with Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol.

This Christmas season, we are deeply grateful to witness the Church thriving. We are seeing God’s powerful work unfold abundantly and graciously, guided by the unwavering truth of His Word.
Reflection: What are you grateful for in this Christmas season? What do you thank God for today?
